New SS owner.

My name is Wes. New to the forums, but not to forums in general. I come from the mazda forums and 3 modified mazdas.

Just bought a second-hand SS on Saturday. Don't know all of the mods, but it's got an intake at least. I'd like to talk to the original owner if he/she is here or someone has their contact information.

Pics attached. Will put together some other pics another time. Name: IMG_20140427_202321_zps8f612fce.jpg

Welcome to the site.

Funny. I had just looked at the ad for that SS a couple of days ago.

Thanks. It gets more attention than I do.

Yeah, that would be Texas Direct Auto, where I bought the car. They're the largest ebay motors dealer in the country and they have three locations in the Houston area. Feeling kind of screwed by them at the moment since it's now in the shop for what I think is a bad fan. Wish they would have caught that before it left the dealer.

Thanks for all the welcomes. You'll be seeing me here pretty regular, I'm sure.

I'm not seeing a lot of aftermarket options out there. Any recommendations? I'm used to turbocharged Mazdas that you can find parts for anywhere. This car has a few mods, now that I've inspected it a little, but it's not done.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new ride! I actually traded in my HHR for a Mazda lol and both of my parents have Mazda's as well. My dad a Mazdaspeed3 and my mom a Mazda3 hatchback. Needless to say as much as I enjoyed my HHR I'm definitely a fan of Mazda now in addition to GM. After all they're great cars imo. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of your Mazda's that you could post up? I'm curious to see them now lol.

Some of the big things we are doing is a tune, coring the 2nd cat and front upper motor mount. That is a great start.
