Thinking about trading in the Cobalt for a HHR

Hello. As the title says I am thinking about trading in my Cobalt for a HHR. Fiancee and I are buying a house and the trunk on my Cobalt Coupe LT 5 Speed just isnt working for us. My other car is a Z28 and that isnt going anywhere.

Looks like many people are happy with their HHR's, I hope to join in a few weeks. Looking at a 06/07 LT with the bright appearance package. I will be going to an automatic transmission as two stick cars is a little much.

:)

These cars are much better than the cobalts if youve got children too. still 30+ mpgs and the extra space is priceless....I would recommend the 2lt, for all the extra options...and 2008+(i think) the window switches are moved from the center by the gear shifter to the window where they should be

Oh and WECOME!!!

Welcome to the site. Post up when you get your HHR and tell us what you get.

We do not have any kids but do have two cats and would like to get a dog first.
I am trying to find a black interior hhr, turning out to be difficult.

Welcome. And its really amazing the difference between the two. Granted they are the same platform you feel completely different in a hhr. Can really pack a lot of stuff in one too. Good luck with your search.

Ss is out of my price range. The mrs will drive this half the time, no need for an ss.

Also, z28's are not kind to young peoples insurance, can't imagin a hhr ss.

You will not be sorry. My HHR is up there with my top vehicles, ever. I have an LT and it is quiet and rattle free. It is a pleasure to drive. I had my expectations set a little low for this vehicle. It has surpassed everything.

HHR's are super useful and super fun at the same time, good luck on your search for one, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
