There is good and bad in everything...to broadbrush all politicians as evil and corrupt and just want to control us is absurd..and yes that goes across party lines to include Dems, Repubs,Libertarian, Greens, Constitutional party, Dog party and any other of those fringy groups

Some truth there too.
But I've yet to see many who don't back peddle, waffle, or cave in to pressure from outside groups.

Those that seem to fight the good fight soon die the good death and are replaced by more palatable automatons that confer more to "Party specs". Not many of the good ones out there in my eyes, but hey as you say, we all have our opinions.

As individuals some of these politicians were/are good folks, but once parties control their thoughts ( purse strings ), a lot of their individual strengths get remolded. Seen it time and again, local, and national.

Sorry if I am sour, but it is not due to anything other than constant barragment from political arenas where those in charge think they know what is good for us, and consistently drop the ball or pander.

Take a look at the spectacle the Terry Shivo case became as an example of what self serving buffoons out elected officials have become. They certainly did not represent any modicum of thought that a majority of their constituents wanted ( with a few exceptions of course ). So things became an out of control circus with our elected officials on all sides doing what they thought we wanted when few of us wanted anything other than to leave it be.
No, it is hard to take these jokers seriously.
I'm sure you can chime in on Gerry Studds or Barney Frank, or some other Mass politico that gets under your skin.....

We need elected officials to wake up and realize WE control them, not the other way around. Poor Linclon Chaffe found that out too late.

Hey, has oil hit the big $100.00/ barrell yet? I wanna get a cake!

Well, I got plenty of guns. If it comes down to anarchy, I got plenty of ammo, too. Mostly 7.62

doubt it would do any harm to a bunch of ghetto folk storming your home. i think we got more guns and ammo than you think. on top of that add in those soldiers fresh from combat that come back to the "hood" to use their newly learned tactics o the street and you have a problem on your hands.
