Isn't that the truth? The thing that really irks me about this whole deal is the huge difference in prices across the country. Some are paying just above $2.00 now, while others are paying around $3.00 and up. Sounds to me like some places could be gouging us in my opinion.

DaJoker might be on to something there....just a month or so ago (when the pipe line in AK was shut down) some dumba$$ from wall street was saying that gas would be over $4 by Turkeyday... now they're saying it will be about $2....as Larry from the 3 stoogies would say "I smell a rat"

I'm gonna have to move to the US if gasoline goes that cheap!! I'm paying $0.90/litre or roughly 3.02USD/gallon.

Can anyone out there hook me up with a job??? Preferably Houston or Dallas.

We'll see the price go up once elections are over and the gas companies begin their "winter blend", which will, of course be in short supply.

I disagree about the politics. I think that those dependent on selling oil to survive are seeing that people are starting to buy less and buying more fuel efficient cars. Exxon, Shell, OPEC, etc... Plus, with fuel priced at outrageous numbers there is more of a push for alternative fuel vehicles like the new Chevy that was debuted today that is a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Maybe the oil giants are finally seeing that they are pricing themselves out of business.

Of course, I do agree that both sides of the aisle will take credit for the drop. Most of the general public seems to give politicians too much credit on what they can actually do. This is business, not politics.
