I thought we were going to leave politics off of this forum. Not everyone has the same opinion about that as you do. We just got over one bout of that stuff. No sense in going through it again.

Yeah, true. But gas prices are a political tool and are, ....well political. So many things are , really. It is difficult to not make some political smears at times.
Speeding tickets are political. They are used as a source of revenue in some municipalities, etc. Unfortunately we are all intertwined in a web of political H-ll and there is little to do but smile, nod, shake yer head and move on.

But people will be people and no one can stop us from getting snippy at times, except here the mods can and will step in.

It is hard to not get political references and religious ones when humans speak. Just our nature.
As you say, we all do not have the same opinions, but we all suffer under the same politicians from both sides. They are all a joke. Enshrine them at your own risk. Trust them like rabid dogs....... We have to remember this is a divided nation , our leaders have not united us, continue to divide us, promote distrust of the other side, etc. Demonizing is in,and we just have to get on with life.
That's as political as I want to get as I like being in this forum

I predicted this thread would turn bad a few posts back. So far, not bad. Heck, I'm starting to swim in the waters though........

Prove me wrong folks. Lets keep cool and let it die. Heck, I'm thinking of changing my signature to "No good will come of this".

That is true. But if 'No politics/No religion' is going to be the theme of the forum people should at least not take opportunities to take stabs that add nothing to the conversation. And that seems to be what the Admins have said at this point.

Same here... We travel almost every weekend and love it. As a matter of fact, I am thinking about driving home to GA for Christmas instead of flying this year. I've been wanting to take my daughter on a cross country road trip.
