2011 Kia Sportage - turbo
Here is what I am looking to replace my SS with next fall. I will have over 80,000 miles on it by then. I saw this car at the Detroit Auto Show last year and it looks even better in person. G.B.

Not sure what I will buy. There is a lot of new GM product coming we have not been shown yet. The next 5-6 years will be interesting.
I hope the new Colorado will be a better truck as I would like to go back to a nice small truck again.

As to the Kia thing...Jesses, you got to be kidding me. Some peoples taste is all in their mouth. Talk about a womans car. No self respecting male would ever be see driving that P.O.S.[my unabaised opinion]. I wonder if they give you a pair of colored woman's panties when you are driving this thing. "Moon"
I am guessing that the GS might start at $30,000 since the current 220 hp 2.0 L turbo starts at $28,000 and goes to $34,000. I think the last Buick manual was in an 80's Buick Skyhawk Turbo. G.B.
More Tourque and more MPG. The Cruze is not a performance car in present form. It is not all about HP.
Note GMPD is working on a SS version that is expected in and about a rear. The 2.0 engine will re appear in several HP levels in the next two years. It will be available soon in a 225 HP Regal and Regal GS with anywhwere from 255 HP-290 HP
You have to remember that the performance cars make up less than 5% of what people really buy.

GM made good money on the upgrade so I am sure we will see it show up on more models soon. Last I heard they were working on a SS but it still needs to be approved. I suspect we have a good shot of getting one.
The Kia Optima looks interesting:
The EX Turbo and SX get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 274 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. We have yet to test an Optima Turbo, but the mechanically similar Hyundai Sonata 2.0T went from zero to 60 mph in a quick 6.6 seconds. The Optima Turbo's EPA-estimated fuel economy is 22/34/26 -- outstanding for a car with this much power.
