It looks like the Cruze's more athletic brother.

If it's roomy enough, sign me up for the free LTZ.

I have seen a couple of these in person. Very tasteful improvements on the current version. Still, no manual shifters, so one will not be appearing in my driveway, unless my wife suddenly decides to abandon her quest for a Traverse and go for this (not happening). I'm not sure why the Regal has an optional manual and the Malibu doesn't...

^That could be. Wifey refuses to learn to drive a manual, so that "shortcoming" wouldn't be one in her eyes... My daughter (10) wants to learn, though.

Hope I have the patience.

Teach her NOW while she wants to learn. I started shifting for my dad at 4 years old. I sat on his lap in a parking lot and shifted for my self at ~6- he clutched. Before you knew it, I was 10 years old driving his manual Nissan pickup truck around the block all by myself. I didn't lug it, grind, or anything. I find it tougher to teach someone who is set in their ways. I feel so out of place in an automatic now. lol

I started on a Mustang II. What a pathetic car. lol

That DEF screams Buick LaCrosse, which isn't a bad thing. I think that car looks awesome!

Where's the 2-door? Malibu used to be muscle, not middle management.

The 2 door Cruze is supposed to be coming in mid 2012 as a 2013 model, maybe there will be an SS version of that for people wanting sporty on a less than Camaro budget.
