Speaking of postal, do you remember when getting an "Air Mail" letter was a really big deal?

Friday to be exact, because original documents or certified copies are still the standard in the legal world, us lawyer types still are a bit old fashioned ya know?

Do you believe the only mail I get is either junk mail, tax bills, or stuff I've ordered online?

At home our mail is the same thing, the highlight of my month is "magazine week" when Car & Driver, Road & Track, Motor Trend, Hot Rod, Hemming's, Car, Classic & Sportscar, What Car?, and Top Gear Magazine arrive. Pitiful ain't I?

Not really, eventually print media will vanish. I think it will be a loss to the world, what do you think?

Don't you think it'll be a sad sad loss? (I'd rather read a book than a Kendal or Nook any day. I even print my PDF Files and bind them to read.)

Electronic book gadgets give me a headache after a while, I'd much rather have a book on the shelf that some electrons trapped on a memory chip. And 500 year from now, the books will still work just fine, will the Nook?

I think it'll be the same with all electronic storage.... tech changes so fast just how long before what is stored on HDDs will no longer be accessible due to obsolescence?

(Cassettes, 8-Track, Laser Disc, floppy drives, even media stored on cd rom won't last forever)
