When someone here sends out a mass mailing email, wouldn't it be proper to at least Bcc everyones e-address for privacy purposes if nothing else ?

Did your computer say it was being attacked by malware when you tried to open it ? Or was mine just special ?

I did not open the "link" for that very possibility.. It hit my spam box anyhow, which arose suspicion, did you get yours cleaned ?

I'm a dummy. I even forgot about the warning email that said don't open one if I get it. Guess you didn't receive that one about the hacked account. My little brother however is a geek (not a bad thing btw) he takes care of all my machines remotely over the interweb. There is some program that stops me from stuff like that. Well thats the story as I know it, unless you have a new twist ?

I understand, good you have your lil Bro, & no new twist. I think my spambox ate the hacked account one...

Just weird that it showed from one of his correct e-address's, but subject had his full name as subject, when I found it in spambox, made me skeptical, know what I mean ?

My personal e-mail account was hacked, and unfortunately it did affect those members here whom I have communicated with via e-mail.

The Spam-Bot that grabbed my account sent out a mass mailing concerning a "Raspberry Weight Loss Scheme". If you have received that e-mail, delete it immediately and do not open it.

The affected e-mail account has been locked down by Yahoo. To those affected I offer my sincerest apologies, I'm more than a little pissed off and embarrassed.

I'm pretty sure this is what you're referencing, and I am very sorry.

Wouldn't it be great if the scum who hack accounts could just be rounded up and then be beaten senseless?
