Angry anyone here in CT own rental property?

Hey everyone...a dumb question on a automotive forum. I'm a CT resident, renting a condo from a private party. Last year, we had an issue with mice...we trapped two of them in our kitchen after figuring out we had the little visitors (food boxes seemingly gnawed at, mouse droppings on the counter tops, etc.). In calling the landlord, he suggested we talk to the property manager. In talking to the property manager, we got nowhere. He was rather unsympathetic, telling us to go get some glue traps. After nabbing two of the little pests, we've seemingly had no trouble.

Until this evening...when my fiancee seems to have spotted a new one.

We're not dirty people...in fact, we're obsessively clean. However, I have no idea what to do in terms of getting someone to help us with this. Anyone here know what the law is?

Any CT residents here with ideas?

I live in the country and mice are just part of it. Come Fall they like to find a warmer spot to settle in and Florida is too far for them to get to. They wonder into the garage usually at night and chump down on nice chunk of cheese that is in a trap and the next morning the trap is re-set and they are tossed out in the wood for cat bate. After a few weeks, no more trouble until the next year. They don't care your rank in society, they just want shelter and if they are lucky, they find food in your nice clean house.
