I have worked on Apple computers as well as PC's since the late 80's. I love Apple Computers. I don't like the companies arrogance, I don't like the prices. My Mac is infinitely more stable than any PC I have ever worked on. I have beta tested Adobe software on both platforms since some of their products were Aldus. I just took a new job with a print shop. Owner is anti - Mac because of the iPhone issue. Told him if he wanted me I needed a Mac and a PC. I got what I wanted.

 

Not an apple rant, but rather a IPOD rant. My IPOD classic decided to die last week. Just out of the blue it was working one day and the next I got this.



This means your IPOD died and you need to bury it or cremate it. Or better yet I can pay Apple to fix it for me. I think not.

So my daughter graciously gave up her PINK IPOD, because she uses her phone for music now. This weekend when I went to play it there was no battery power. It will not take a charge either. Tried all day Sunday no luck. Today apple tells me to send it in and they can replace the battery or fix the problem at my expense. They don't make these little pieces of junk user friendly! They want to replace the battery instead of the public being able to. To make this worse I just bought a BOSE sound dock which will only works with an IPOD.

Edit: Now after holding for an hour on the phone they tell me they will replace the battery for $59.95 plus shipping....APPLE SUCKS!
