Best car movie

This is a semi-plagiarization of the 'Best car song' thread.
Not watching a movie while driving, but a movie featuring cars.

One that I like was Fast and Furious. Ricey but cool.
The trailer for the new one looks pretty good.

Vin's back into Detroit muscle.

I have to admit I love the Gone in 60 Seconds remake.

I am also a sucker for the old Cannonball Run flicks, and Smokey and the Bandit's.

Dazed and Confused was full of great American Muscle era eye candy!

I agree with you Jeff® that the first F&F was fun. Jam packed with rice, horrible acting, and abundant cliche's, but I think that's what I liked The new one does look good, although, given the last two sequels it won't be hard to improve.

The first Transporter was also AWESOME! The second one - not so much. I probably won't even bother with the newest one.

Last but not least, the car chase scenes in Ronin featuring the Audi S8 were instant classics IMO.

Good movie however i felt the first one was severely lacking a good plot. Kind of choppy, not all thought out. The second one at least had a storyline that was there although the movie was not quite as good. I'll probably rent the 3rd one once it comes out, but heck I don't go to any moves in the theatre anymore, too expensive here.

for F&F, the first one was cheesy but is watchable from time to time. The second one is unbearable to me, can not watch that. The 3rd one I thought was alright. The main guy was an idiot and i hated his "oh so southern" accent, but that actual movie I thought was good. Plot was there, some good action etc. The new one, I don't know about it yet. It could either be the worst out of all them or tolerable like the rest.

Gone in 60 is good, used to watch it a lot.

Not movies but I loved The Dukes of Hazard and Knight Rider TV shows.
Both have had movies that are much to be desired.

Just thought of another. The Vegas chase scene from Diamond's Are Forever.

Though not a car movie, Iron Man had some great vehicles in it as well!

Oooh! Lets not forget Tranformers! It was, after all, a 2 hour GM commercial
