I work in manufacturing, and most of our product is exported. But everyday I worry that my job may go to China, like my last job did. Oh well...I guess the saving grace for my job right now that prevents it from being relocated out of country is the devaluation of the dollar...more international customers buying my company's's products at a lower price. Thank you globalisation

In later life, Mead was a mentor to many young anthropologists and sociologists, including Jean Houston.[15]
Mead died of pancreatic cancer on November 15, 1978
Looked into other sources also all say Columbia no Yale

Yeah, well, I know a guy, that knows a gal whose brother-in-law, knows a professor, that is related to a janitor at Yale and he said she did not teach there. But, he thinks one of her books may have been there.....but only on a semi-irregular basis.

this country is goin into the crapper fast and its because of idiots like bush and i am no fan of the democrates either i think we are screwed no matter which party gets in!
the american dollar is at an ALL time low!
home foreclosures at all time high!
the price of everything is climbing fast!!
looks like it did in russia just before it collapsed.
Obama is right about 1 thing its time for change but unlike him i think its time for a non dem or rep but a person who acctually cares ABOUT AMERICA and not how they can make the super rich even richer by pushing the middle class into a lower class making america into another third world country!!

Sorry i just cant believe the things im seeing transpire in my generation in what used to be the greatest country in the world!!!!
YOUR generation is the reason why our country is in debt up to it's eyeballs, all in personal, business, and government debt. The reason WHY our dollar is flagging is because everyone else owns our debt now and they know that the dollar is overextended. Therefore, INFLATION is causing everything to cost more.

The price of oil has gone up 300% in dollars over the last five years, 0% in gold. That's INFLATION.

You can blame whoever you want but the real fault lies with us the people.
First people spend way out of their means- sure we can afford a small house but if we get a magical interest loan we can afford a bigger house, remodel it, and get a BMW. Now everyone cries that they are losing their homes.

Second, people don't work hard anymore i have had up to three jobs just to be better than getting by but the general public thinks 40 hours is working to the bone. I would rather be tired then homeless with bad credit.

Finally, the cliche what goes up must come down works for more than gravity it works in economics as well. If you know its a recession then capitalize on it
refinance to a lower rate on your home or car, look into interest rates, invest in gold standards, and keep your eyes on deals.

Bush isn't the devil
Irresponsibility with our income and credit cards is
Credit Cards and lines of credit caused the Great Depression
Remember the "Recession" didn't really kick in until those magic loans began changing to the new unaffordable rates

I may be young and dumb, but doesn't anyone else see the problem in the housing market prices dropping not as dropping but as correcting. I make a great living for someone my age but a year ago i don't think i could have in any way afforeded to buy a house where i live. Now with the correction in the market but i will be able to afford something nice. And even if this is not a correction in the market, its the peoples fault for getting in over their heads.
