Many thanks to the drive thru windows...like having a wife, except cooks and delivers at a cheaper price.

The first 3 road tests I pulled up on your Bullitt show 13.7 to 13.8 quarter mile times, which is slightly slower than the stage 1 HHR SS with equivalent drivers. I would bet the 60 ft time is better with the Mustang though.
Agreed.

I have a new camaro and I didn't pay over sticker. I can't understand why someone would. My camaro is not a daily driver, that may be why you don't see many.

Magazine tests are fine and good but specific cars in the real world is what I was talking about. Here are the stats on mine:

'08 Mustang Bullitt (stock, 5sp): 315 hp / 325 tq - 3,353 curb weight
'09 HHR SS (w/turbo kit, auto): 290 hp / 315 tq - 3,328 curb weight

The above are advertised HP and torque ratings and actual weights.

Four non-track 1/4 mile runs were done with drivers trading cars and running both with TC on and TC off. Result - Mustang takes it by 1 to 1.5 car lengths every time. The SS would do better if it didn't have so much trouble gaining traction...I wish we could have had this car in RWD form. In any case, I love driving both of 'em - viva la difference!
