Somewhere tonight old VW Beetles are quietly remembering Dean Jones, the star of the Herbie movies, and other Disney classics who passed away yesterday at age 84.

My late Parent's first date was at the Badin Road Drive In Theater in 1965, the movie that night was "That Darn Cat!", so thanks to Dean and cantankerous cat...my Mom and Dad started going steady and eventually married in 1966.

Just wish they were both still with us.
