Do Red Cars get more tickets ? You know who you are...
I got tons of tix in the following...
1989 Champagne Thunderbird Super Coup
2000 Black Mustang Coup
2004 Metallic Silver Honda Civic EX
1979 Black (then primer grey) Firebird
I used to get pulled over in my Firebird all the time. That was in the mid 80s to early 90s.I deserved them,though....LOL

That's a myth. A red car pays the same as a black car, green car, blue car, or any color car under the rainbow. They base your insurance rates off stuff like the vehicle model, safety features, driving record, insurance reduction programs, where it's located, and discounts you might have like a multi-car policy. Color doesn't even factor into your rates.

I have an extra dark tint on the driver/passenger side windows (dealer installed). I like it as it I don't have to use any other shade--anyhow, the dealer said they would pay any tickets I might get for the dark tint. I told them since I am a more seasoned-looking driver, i have no concerns about ever getting pulled over! ;D
Hey afs9, you made me think about something. The reason driver/passenger door dark tint is illegal is so that law enforcement can see who and what the driver is doing. (see Conceal Carry in HHR thread) If your tint is dark enough to do any good how can they tell that you are a more seasoned-looking driver.
