Drunken Autoworkers

I saw on the news today that the Chrysler/Jeep workers were drinking alcohol and smoking pot during their break time. I guess that explains why my former Jeep rattled all the time. I suppose we HHR owners are safe due to the fact the our cars are assembled in Mexico.

Didn't someone a few years back go on a shooting rampage at Toledo Jeep?

This is causing quite an uproar, and the union (if they are smart) should allow them to be fired.

All of them? Then what, how would build the cars?

There were 10 caught on video.
It's a big deal since Chrysler took taxpayer money to keep the doors open.
And if you think the same doesn't happen at Ford and GM then I have some real estate you may be interested in...

This is really bad PR for any car company, period. it may happen at GM and Ford, too, but it would be bad PR for any of them -- Chrysler just happens to be the one that got caught.

They're all trying to rebuild reputations, establish better quality numbers and earn consumer respect. This sure isn't the way to do it, though.

You know, as long as I have been around, it seems like the quality of Chrysler & Dodge has always been way down compared to other brands. We have friends that in more peaceful days used to have a place way down south on Sea of Cortez side of Baja.

Property owners had mostly Ford trucks, and a few GM trucks but zero Dodge trucks as they simply could not survive the "roads" up and back (I would guess the Power Wagon is an exception). That said the Viper is pretty cool in its own way.

I think we should have just let this company die a long time ago.
