Every Car Guy knows!

Hey Forum!
Just a little story that was part of my day. Each and everytime I see another HHR on the road I always look to see if they have any custom work that I may like to imitate or to see if the driver notices other HHRs. I was coming home from work and while approaching a red light I saw in the lane next to me a white HHR. Both of us were next to eachother in the front of both rows so i looked over and he had the same idea! We started bobbing our heads up and down with a smile I saw him looking at mine to see the things I did to it and since I will be purchasing a Roof rack sometime within the next day to week I asked him where he got his but his came with his car. It was a fun moment as Everytime I notice an HHR in my area, it's a woman driving that probably wouldnt care. Anyone have any related stories?

Sure do! Everyone knows "Padiddle" the headlight game. I have no idea how to spell that. But where you hit the roof and be the first to see a car with a burnt out headlight and proclaim PADIDDLE.

Ok, so we love our HHRs in my family. We spot HHRs now, and you can play during the daytime! Simple rules, be the first to spot a HHR! You could play the advanced version if your passengers have a keen eye;

Plain ol HHR = 1 point
HHR Panel = 3 points
HHR AA5 (half panel) = 5 points
HHR SS = 10 points (I've seen 3 or 4 since we've had ours)
HHR SS Panel = all the points ever (never seen one)

No one likes to play with me though. I can spot one from a mile away! So to make it fair my points are cut in half. Oh, and the one's in your driveway don't count.

I wave to other HHRs, and flag down super sports. Good to know I'm not alone.

I drove a Jeep Wrangler for a few years and every time another Jeep passed we would both wave. Now in the HHR I feel like I am supposed to do that too, which normally (well always) ends in an awkward look from the other driver and no wave back.

That sounds like a fun game Dbeluscak yes I agree with you, the HHR is easy to spot from far away, especially from the back due to the round vertical lights. Haha your a Natural!

Thats pretty cool how Jeep people understand it easily HHRSS10. I can relate to what your saying with the HHR. Everytime I see another HHR I get excited inside thinking they will look over so I can wave but as I said in my post, it ends up being a middleaged woman that probably doesnt care. I love your SS btw bud.

I've waved to on coming HHR drivers , just like I have since my MGB days back in 1973, just a hand lift off the steering wheel.
Some wave back, some don't. Go figure!
No Firebird guys waved back!
Some S10 guys would wave.
Must be a thing for contemplating!

funny ..
I've seen other HHR only once in a lifetime
I think it is unlikely there are a couple of the same HHR within a radius of 1,000 miles.
People on the road asking: "What is this? new body kit for Chrysler?"
