Favorite Sunglasses?

Anyone have favorite sunglasses? Some have them for years while others buy them like toilet paper. Some are selective about quality brands while others look for throwaways.

I bought a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators back in the summer of 1994 when taking the family from NY to Ohio to see some relatives driving the Chevy Astro with a pop-up trailer.

At that time, the Ray-Bans ran $54 which was rather expensive in those days. I still wear them everyday when it's sunny. A nose support broke off a couple of years ago, but the quality of the metal supported solder for the repair and it fixed just fine and is holding up to this day. Some people think that they have grown into my head and they may be correct...

They may have grown into your head if you had the solder job done while wearing them.

j/k

I rarely wear sunglasses, the only pair I own look like something Ben Franklin would have worn.

Ray-Ban prescription black, biker shades style.

I used to use H-D biker shades when I used contacts.

I own 5 pairs of Oakley sunglasses and love each pair. I will continue to buy them until they are no longer available. The styles are blades, e-wires, twenties, straight jackets( ordered custom) and Monster dogs. Love each pair, but probably wouldn't buy metal frames again. I'm too active. I bent the e-wires. Left them in the carpenter shorts side pocket and squatted to look at something and bent them. Oh well, Oakley's are still my favorite.

I Rarely ever wear any. I'd Never spend more than $15.00 on a pair, Unless I needed to wear eyeglasses and got them as a Presciption pair.

Otherwise just cheap tossaways for me.

I keep a cheap pair in the HHR Panel now because you Can't use the Visors at all !

Put the factory visor down and your whole view is Blocked, WTF were they Thinking!?
I am not tall at 5'8" my legs are short and my body is long, so I must sit Higher up, but I cannot use the sun visors at all no way no how.

I use a few Motor Cycle Goggles when riding, they keep my eyes from watering like crazy, over just wearing normal sunglasses. They are less than $20.00 a pair.

I also have a full faced flipup Helmet so I don't have to wear glasses when I wear it.
