Sad, Just proofs once again we are not safe anywhere. Sounds to me like the psych Needed a psych Doctor for himself. Which brings up a point, Do the psych Doctors ever have to go through a outside psych firm to see if there actually stable to do there job? Not sure how the Army Does there testing. I only have Family in the Navy/Air Force

Thoughts and Prays go out to all those involved in one more pointless Act of stupidity.

In my Counseling graduate program, we were highly encouraged to be in counseling at the same time--as we were reminded, our "stuff" will come out and it does.

I've been a Counselor for 9 years and it can be a challenge sometimes. I am always amazed at how cr*ppy people feel they have to treat each other--however, I trained myself to leave whatever I heard in my office and not take it home with me. I will admit there were a few times where I chatted with a counseling pyschologist (luckily, my Supervisor) about challenging cases--sometimes you have to.

On the other hand, one never knows what will make people snap. I don't know the particulars of this situation and will not make rash judgements until I read more. A person's faith isn't the issue here, people lose it and innocent people lost their lives.

Que en paz descansen.

I guess I'm not so evolved as others. As a Tech Instructor I used to do 1-2 month trips on a yearly basis for 15 years in the Gulf, I developed a love/hate relationship for the people and the religion (sunni/Shiite). So I can partly understand the bias towards negative attitudes. Call it being narrow minded, but because of my experience, I will give people the benefit of the doubt, but always with caution being in the back of my mind.

Back to the Topic, Sad for the Soldiers' Families, but maybe the Army should of paid more attention to the signs he was supposedly giving off during the time preceding the incident.

[QUOTE=mitzkity;423332]. Tho I have to wonder if they are more "evolved" about it now that our president's middle name is "Hassan" - if QUOTE]

I thought it was Hussein, not Hassan.
