Might have been a 430. My dad had an Olds 88 with a 425 HC and my uncle used to bust his a** about having a few less cu in. Caddys dominated with the 455 (not fact but only as I recall).

Great stuff. Even the cu. in. debates dredge up good memories. Thanks

Yes!

Caddy's had 472 IIRC. Later, they went to 500. Those were monster motors.

Hillsdale how much are they asking for it? My parents live in Saginaw and I would love to try and talk him into buying this. My dad curently has '64 chevelle that has everthing totally redone just needs to be put back together. (been a project for atleast 15 years) He really needs to get a completed car so he can enjoy it until the chevelle is complete

Not sure but you could call them: (517) 826-4574. Note that this is not a perfect car. We just stopped by to take pics after seeing it from across the street so we weren't really looking it over but it definately needs some attention as well.

Absolutely 454. My father bought a '70 wildcat later on and it had a 455.

Was by there myself on Sunday. It does look good from the road. Didn't stop to look at it, but that ain't a bad price for something of that era.
