Gas prices

I guess I'm about to find out what premium unleaded costs in the U.S. I'm about to leave (alone and enjoying the good "single" life) on vacation and will hit about 5-7 states (depending on route) in 4-7 days. Stay for an undetermined time and return, probably on a different route.
So, I may sample fuels and pricing from as many as 15 states.
I can start by saying just filled the car with premium (boutique fuel, this time of year...and poorer mileage) for $3.85/gal.

http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx If you have internet at the motels along the way, put in cities along your route to look for gas prices.

Thanks, Lar....
I have that book marked along with Gas Buddy.
Generally, I bunk out for the night at a motel near the freeway (or what ever route). But I do check in aroung 5-6PM. .......have dinner at someplace "in town" and found the same brand gas, 5-15 cents different, at times, in or near the area I'm eating.

Isn't it funny? They got us looking forward $3.00/gallon is a good thing. In reality, $3.00/gallon still is not that cheap. Who knows if we'll ever see $1.50-$2.00 again...
