I used to think I was pretty cutting edge, had my first cellphone back in 1986, some here weren't even born back then. But I think that maybe I've reached a saturation point, or maybe I just have become settled in my ways, hope I'm not turning into a fuddy duddy at 43.

I have a cell phone with AT&T for the last 2 months they send me a text message, I looked at my bill they have charged me $15.00 each month for their text message so next month I will cancel with At&t.

Just cancel the texting plan that is $15 that they put on there, however some new phones require you have a data / text plan as part of the phones.

Now Sync reads your texts to you in the car. If you're gonna do that, wouldn't it be easier just to use a bluetooth phone and hear your friend's voice deliver the message than a computer generated voice? Congratulations, we've come full circle... I guess I'm old too, but with age comes wisdom.

Gee sleeper, you done had a easy childhood, I had to walk 30 miles each way uphill in a snowstorm in the middle of August while carrying two sacks of bricks.

And you got dinner too, I always know'd Mama shoulda give me to the circus like I wanted.

And then there are the 1800's when not only content and grammar mattered but also penmanship. A letter home from my GGGGrandfather July 1840 from his campsite on his way home.

How true that is.. Calligraphy, an art form for sure.. And the pride taken to write so beautifully with a quill pen, no less..

I remember in grade-school learning penmanship..But nothing like the 1800's

Can you imagine if the Declaration of Independence had been written today.....

Thankfully we never had to worry about such idiocy from the founding fathers, their words still ring with truth and eloquence despite the passage of time.

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are, Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
