Maybe....just maybe, the survey/study was done AFTER GM forced the closure of the bad ones

Or at least, GM had to, maybe, threaten closure to raise the rating

It's easier to satisfy people when the product is better than their previous GM vehicle. With a good product, all you need is to take care of the customer the way you would want your mother treated.

If only my dealer could fix my car

But they can't so I am taking it to a different dealer that has a performance shop and more understanding/experience with my car. I have taken my SS to my dealer 3 times for the problem of my turbo going into reduced power mode and they either tell me they cannot recreate the problem or they make an adjustment and say that is all it is needed. Yet everytime I give it a little acceleration I hear a squeal/whistling noise and the turbo goes limp.

The 30 signs in the waiting room showing you how to fill out the survey with "excellent" couldn't have anything to do with it? could it? nawwwwww

I don't take much stock in other people's opinions (JD Powers, Consumer Reports, Edmunds, etc.). I'd rather go off my own experiences. But in this case, my experience has aligned with their study.

My local dealer's SERVICE dept has been extraordinary in providing quality repairs, upgrades and corrective actions as well as good customer service.

In the case of this same dealer, it's their SALES dept that needs an overhaul in ethics.
