I hope you're right but I don't think that's the wind down list because we're not on it and we DID get the death letter last year.So it looks like my employer's dealership didn't make the good list .-which isn't really surprising as GM didn't like the fact that there's also Acura,Honda,Kia and Nissan sold at the same location(but different buildings).
The thing I noticed is that most of these dealerships are in smaller towns where GM would lose presence if they were shut down.
I recognized 6 dealers on the list here in southeast Michigan. One's franchise had already been put out for bid by GM(the property being bought by one dealer chain, the franchise being given to a different dealer),two I know had already closed up and one of those two has even sold his building! This is going to get more interesting.

OK,assuming that's last year's list that's the FIRST list(pre bankruptcy) that GM made.We weren't on it.We made the second(post bankruptcy) shutdown list.

Sorry to hear Tony. Any idea how soon before you will close? Hopefully, you will be lucky and find something quick.

I know this isn't much help to you, but almost all of the people (salesman, parts, bodyshop) workers from my old dealer did find jobs within a few months of closing... Hopefully someone with as much experience as you will have no problem!
