This has been a really bad day....

Just a quick update before turning in for the night.
Dad is doing better with all vital signs stable, they took him off the ventilator tonight and he's much happier to be unhooked from that gadget. He's kinda grumpy and unhappy to find himself in this situation again, but like we've told him, the alternative isn't that rosy either.
Tomorrow they're moving him from the cardiac ICU to cardiac rehab, so things are looking up.
Take care and take it easy everybody, talk to you all in the morning.

Hey all, just a quick update now that my smart phone is charged up(thanks to the nice nurse who let me borrow her charger
).
Dad has been moved from the cardiac ICU to cardiac rehab where he'll stay for about a week or so, maybe less if he continues to remain stable and "be a good boy".
We're all pretty tired out and worn down, but things are looking better.
Wish I'd have remembered my laptop in the insane rush to get here the other day, I miss hanging out and messing around on the forum. I think I'm having withdrawals.

Hey Mike-
Glad to hear he is progressing through rehab so quickly. My dads will be 3 to 6 months but his prognosis is good as well. Maybe your Dad & mine should become pen pals of the "heart"?
