Hey all,

One more update from here in Charleston.

Dad is improving daily and Mom has decided that we need to get home to our cats who have probably driven our neighbor nuts by not eating what he's giving them...finicky buggers that they are.

So in the morning we're heading back to NC while Mom settles in at an extended stay hotel near the hospital.

Thanks from all of us for every prayer and show of support during the last week, it really means a lot to all of us.

I'll see you on the forum tomorrow night after we get back and settle in to our lives again.

I hope you are having a safe journey home. It is great to read your father is doing well every day. That is a very scary situation. I am glad your mom is doing well and able to stay in a close hotel to be with him.

I will see you on Monday. I have the weekend off! :)

We're home all safe and sound, the cats met us at the door with little signs and banners saying they're going out on strike if we vanish again leaving them to be fed by our neighbor...apparently we've run afoul of the "Amalgamated Felines Union 102".

Dad is doing much better with talk of him being sent home as soon as Sunday, with 60 days of outpatient care in cardiac rehab, I think he'll feel even better once he's able to rest in his own house.

Thanks to everyone for all of your prayers, and thoughts during this very long week, it means the world to me and the family.

You are the best!

I've missed everyone here too, and thanks so much for your kind words, prayers, thoughts, and most of all for just being there.

Its good to be home, and its good to be "home" here too.
