He's my son and I'm the only one who can get away with a Smurf comment

I do thank everyone for the help and the giggles. His insurance won't cover it and his boss is being an a-hole. Guess it's time for Dad to step in and get this resolved. I mean really, pick a color....blue or gray?

 

Stick with blue... and get him a license tag frame that says "SMURFMOBILE"

I'm glad you took the smurf comment in stride. It was a terrible thing to have happen and I too would be devastated, but seing my kid come home painted blue...I would not be able to stop laughing (as long as he was not hurt of course).

I would be interested in how you resolve this as realistically it could happen to anyone.

 

Problem to be resolved..........soon. Insurance company cut him a check for a "princely" sum. A friend owns a body shop so he'll order the parts, carpet, etc, and my son plans on installing them. At least they covered it. Now, if his boss would only pick up the deductible.....
