How do you think the old "Bail Out" has restructured the Auto industry in N.A.?

What do y'all think? Did it save or dilute today's economy?

kinda angry that they bailed on Canada, considering our gov put in a lot of money as well and they closed plants here just to open new ones in the US

As skyline pointed out, the Canadian people got screwed over, but had GM and Chrysler been allowed to fail....the effects on the American and world economies would have been disastrous.
