$1.13/L for premium unleaded here. That's about $4.27/gallon.

Added taxes

On July 1 the provincial gov't here added 8% sales tax to the price. "Happy Canada Day". That gets added on top of the taxes that are already hidden in the price, so in effect we get taxed on the taxes. I'm sure they are using the money for good things tho'!

Prices vary from station to station. $2.53 at Sam's Club for 87 Octane add on $0.20 for 93 Octane. Other stations are running $2.58-$2.63 for regular then you can add on $0.10-0.12 for 89 octane or $0.20-0.22 for 93 octane.

Deisel is running about $3/gallon +/- $0.04.

Its floating between $2.55 and $2.58 a gallon here in western North Carolina. With all of the stuff going on with BP I believe that the oil companies are holding prices down. Once the mess in the Gulf is contained, I'm thinking that gas prices will skyrocket for Labor Day.

Uh-oh! Gas just went up to $2.67/gal for regular unleaded, and $2.97/gal for premium unleaded here in Green Bay, WI. I guess I jinxed it, now it's going up again.
