Rudy, no heated mirrors and I sure could have used them. Coudn't see anything behind me, but I was more worried about what was in front of me

Rumor has it we are getting it starting Sunday night into Monday. But then again, this is New England. If you don't like the weather, stick around a minute......it'll change.

That's what they say about Colorado too...but nothing has hanged in almost a month. We've had snow every Friday for the last 4 weeks.

There is no heated mirror option on the HHR . My Suburban and Venture both have heated mirrors and they are worth every penny. Right now, in a box in my office at work, I have a set of replacement mirrors(the glass part with plastic backer plate) for the HHR from GM and a set of aftermarket mirror heaters from Burco. I have found a way to separate the glass from the plastic backing without damaging either part. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will find time to attach the heaters to the glass, and then reattach the plastic backing plate. The only step left will be to run the wiring to the mirrors, which shouldn't be a problem because there is already a harness going to the mirrors for the power adjuster. I'll connect the mirror power to the rear defogger (as it is other GM vehicles).

We had ice overnight here in Michigan. The HHR was covered in it. A branch came down within 8 feet of it. Luckily the Grand Caravan was moved to the back yard or it would have been hit. The roads weren't bad though. Just covered in branches.

Hey fastsuv/ Steve....

How come you don't have heated mirrors on your HHR...I have them on mine.

All I need to do is park in the sun ....here in Arizona

Actually, with the wind chill factor, it was 14F here last night at 3:37AM (I have a weather station). Been unusually cold here.
