Welcome back! I had an appendicitis and it sucked. Mine didn't rupture though. My mom made me go to the hospital instead of skateboarding so they caught it in time. The doctor told me if I had went skating rather than to the hospital it would have definitely burst. It was a horrible experience.

 

I've been an EMT for 30 years. I have always seen younger folks with appendicitis, tonsils, all the "childhood" stuff. I never even thought for one single second that it would happen to me......and at 49! I figure God has a plan.................I just wish I could get a bit of a heads up next time!

 

I think I was about 24 or 25 when it happened.
