42, about $700 a year, 100/250 deductable with towing and free glass (all glass).

Don't remember all the numbers, but think it's 100/300/100, plus Emergency Road Service, Rental and travel, Uninsured Motorists, Underinsured Motorists, Death, dismemberment & loss of sight.

Probably more I just can't remember....

Ok guys, one thing we need to specify is your limits of liability. That's most of your premium. And as a former insurance underwriter, I need to tell you to carry more than the basic required in property damage. Look at the price of cars these days!

I carry 100/300/50 and live in a no-fault state. My liability premiums alone are $255 every 6 months and the total is $382. That price supposedly includes $115 in discounts for multi-line, multi-car, and others. It also includes a $4 charge to help rebuild the reserves of our state ins co after so many hurricane claims.

Last winter I lost my 25-year accident-free discount when I backed into a parked car that cost $1300 to fix. Next year Florida changes back from no-fault to regular liability and I'll hit that 50-74 category. I'm hoping my premiums will go down!

Sandy, you are right on the point of limits. Mine are 100/300/100 with a 200 ded for comprehensive and a 500 ded for broadened collision. The total 6 month premium is $467.73 after a $223.31 reduction for multiple line, multicar, antitheft, vehicle safety, seat belt usage, and accident/violation free. Again, I am 33 and live in Michigan.

I'm 22 and still under OH insurance (MN is no fault and too high). $456 for 6mo premium under nationwide w/HHR. Also have clean record.

Do you really get a discounted rate for seat belt usage?? Do they ask you if you use seatbelts when you set up an insurance policy? I would have never expected something like that.
