From one brother-in-arms to another, tell him good luck and come home safe and soon.

Thanks guys for thwe warm and well wishes! I'll pass on your kind words when we see him to his ship on Tuesday.

On a side note: Had a great time at the Monteray run this past weekend. The wonderful people, HHR's, food and Southern California Highway Route 1 secenery took my mind off the troubles of the forum and of sending my son off to sea.

I'm back now and it's reality check time. The issues of the board and working out details to sending the boy off to sea are a bit overwhelming to me right now.

Other issues in my life away from the forum just make all the board stuff so insignificant to me right now... it's not that they aren't important, I don't mean that to sound insensitive if you know what I mean...

I'll keep ya posted, thanks, you guys are like family!

Kiddo is on his way....

We had a great family gathering the evening before his ship set out. (9/13/06)
I did ok until our good-bye hugs! Mom always needs kleenex tissues for those moments, I'm such a pansy-squishy!
I passed on your well wishes and he sends his thank you's!
Here is a pic with Kiddo, his wife and happy me!
