Kazan

Hi Guys.

Happened - my managers sent me to Kazan. Very hard mission.
But it does not hurt. It's a hurt that I'm stuck in this town. I've been here for 3 weeks. And I think it'll be here for another month or two months.
My company has many problems in Kazan. We are indebted to half of the city. We're losing a lot of litigation. The local manager was dismissed and I erase his ****.
I am missing my family. And I miss my HHR, he remained in Ekaterinburg.
But not all that bad. Kazan - the city is very beautiful, but very corrupt.

Kazan - the capital of Tatarstan. Tatarstan - a Muslim state within the Russian federation.

Home Kazan mosque. I do not remember her name.

Kazan - the ancient city. More than 1000 years. 500 years ago Ivan Terrible conquered this city and land to Russia. Destroyed the Tatar khan and his army.
This is the Kazan Kremlin. The fortress is preserved to our time. Now a museum.

But not only the mosque. A lot of ancient Orthodox churches.

In Kazan is one of the great Orthodox shrines - "Icon of Kazan Mother of God"

This icon has a powerful mystical effect. It heals people. It protects our Mother Russia for many centuries. When Hitler was standing at the walls of Moscow and the Red Army had no forces to keep him, Stalin made a secret order. Icon of the Mother of God was placed on a plane and flew around Moscow. Hitler did not come to Moscow. A miracle happened - a handful of weary soldiers without equipment, and even without bullets smashed the huge German army. Forced them to retreat. Since then, Hitler had no luck on Russian soil. Soviet soldiers beat the fascists as efficiently as their ancestors destroyed Teutons and the Crusaders.

But Kazan - a modern city. Many modern buildings. This entertainment center in the shape of a pyramid. In Los Angeles there is a casino of this form. I do not know Tatars stole the idea from the Americans or the Americans stole the idea from the Tatars. Perhaps we are all robbed of Tutankhamen.

Roads in Kazan - the bad. Slippery. Unevenly. Snow pit.

These pictures did not me. I took them on the web. But it is very similar to what I see now.
Winter Kazan.

In Kazan, at various times lived great people.
artist Shishkin, poet Tsvetaeva. Sang the great Chaliapin. Lenin studied at the University of Kazan.
Monument Chaliapin.

And this - Kazan women.

In their national costumes.

Secular Tatars.

Here's how I live now.
In beauty and in **** at the same time.

Thank you for the photos, so much history in one place. Your family and your HHR may be far away from you now, but you carry them in your heart.
