Hmmm, looks like it was a special segment that is over with now. No wonder - I was looking for it in January and all I found was Rock n Roll High School --- which I LOVE@!@

This was the schedule, but I'm not sure it will paste well...

TCM Welcomes Auteur Filmmaker and Music Artist Rob Zombie as Host Of New Cult Movie Showcase on TCM

Turner Classic Movies is taking a walk on the wild side as it welcomes auteur filmmaker and legendary rocker Rob Zombie as the host of the network's newest weekly movie showcase, TCM UNDERGROUND. The late-night franchise, which will feature off-the-wall movies chosen and introduced by Zombie, is set to launch in October.

"TCM UNDERGROUND will serve as home to some of the truly visionary cult films that have been made over the past century, from stylish horror movies to offbeat black comedies," said Tom Karsch, executive vice president and general manager for TCM. "We are proud to have a talent like Rob Zombie hosting this showcase, which is certain to broaden TCM's appeal beyond our loyal core audience."

Among the movies set to be featured in the TCM UNDERGROUND are Russ Meyer's iconic Faster, *****cat! Kill! Kill!, horror master George Romero's The Crazies, Ed Wood's Bride Of The Monster and Brian De Palma's creepy Sisters, as well as Leonard Castle's offbeat The Honeymoon Killers, the story of which also serves as the basis for the new thriller Lonely Hearts, starring John Travolta, James Gandolfini, Salma Hayek, Jared Leto and Laura Dern.

Zombie has made a name for himself challenging audiences by stretching the boundaries of film, music and publishing. He recently took film to a new level with his critically acclaimed House of 1000 Corpses and its high-octane follow-up The Devil's Rejects, and he is now working on his next film project, the animated horror film The Haunted World of Superbeasto starring Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti, slated for release later this year.

As the longest active artist on Geffen Records and the most prolific Geffen artist when it comes to Gold and Platinum discs, Zombie has sold in excess of fifteen million records worldwide. This past March, his new album Educated Horses entered the billboard charts at #5. Zombie is also a seasoned video director, with more than 25 videos to his credit. In 1995, he won an MTV Music Video Award for "More Human Than Human," becoming the first self-directed artist to win such an award.

I just ordered Django and Django Kill: If You Live, Shoot! on DVD. I guess I'm going to work on my spaghetti western DVD collection for a while.

I'm such a dork -- I had the title all wrong of the movie that got bleeped by the forum, It is "Faster *****cat - Kill Kill". It was my first viewing of it, and I just ate it up. I guess it will bleep that too.

I love posting about movies to you, Howdy, because you know directors and studios, and reputations, etc...and all I do is watch the thing!

Anyway, I was thrilled that you hadn't seen the 1968 Spider Baby, but then I saw that it had a bunch of other titles:
Attack of the Liver Eaters
Cannibal Orgy, or the Maddest Story Ever Told
The Liver Eaters

Yes, Boxing Helena was a drama, don't you like the "gripping drama" types? I'm a sucker for'em.

Guess I'm lazy, but I love to look at other people's compilations. People who take the trouble to contribute LISTS on Amazon for example. I found this German guy, The_Great_Bender who likes some wierd stuff. Today I was surprised to see that he also likes Spaghetti Westerns. I don't know if this will paste... will see.

Russ Meyer is classic trash! I love some of his actresses like Uschi Digard and Candy Samples. I'm a geek when it comes to movies. I always read the credits and wait to see if there is a bonus scene or gag reel at the end. My wife hates going to the movies with me because she wants to get up and go as soon as the credits roll while I want to sit there and get mad at people for walking in front of me while reading. My wife says the same thing about films. While watching films with her I find myself talking about certain aspects of it and my wife just looks at me and says, "I just watch it.". I guess I study film rather than watch it.

I'm only into drama if it's like crime drama, mafia drama, or manly drama like The Ghost and the Darkness.

Nope. Well anyway...I printed it all out for myself.

• Un Chien Andalou DVD ~ Pierre Batcheff (I have never seen it)

• Fando & Lis DVD ~ Alejandr Jodorowsky (I have never seen this but Alejandr Jodorowsky is a great surrealist director. I would suggest Santa Sangre.)

• El Topo DVD ~ Alejandro Jodorowsky (El Topo is awesome! It's a western but so much more than any other western. The film has tons of religious overtones from both eastern and western religions and it plays out more like a Samurai film. It was John Lennon's favorite film. He got it released and distributed in America.)

• A Bullet for the General DVD ~ Gian Maria Volontθ (I still need to get it on DVD.)

• Run, Man, Run! DVD ~ Tomas Milian (Awesome! I just ordered the Blue Underground Release the other day. It comes in a two pack with another awesome spag western Mannaja. Tomas Milian is in my avatar right now as Chaco from Four of the Apocalypse.)

• Django (2-Disc Limited Edition) DVD ~ Franco Nero (Awesome! Django is on of the most memorable spag western characters ever! Next to Clint Eastwood Franco Nero is my favorite western actor. I just bought this recently. I also bought one of the unofficial sequels starring Tomas Milian Django, Kill... If You Live, Shoot!. Django spawned like 30 unofficial sequels and only one disappointing official sequel. I also pre-ordered the Blue Underground releases of two other Franco Nero spag westerns Texas Adios and Keoma due out in the end of March.)

• Tetsuo - The Iron Man (Special Edition) DVD ~ Kei Fujiwara (Weird! Asian cinema can just be odd sometimes.)

• Tetsuo II: Body Hammer DVD ~ Tomoo Asada (See above. )

• Ichi the Killer (Unrated Edition) DVD ~ Tadanobu Asano (Awesome! Ichi is my favorite Takashi Miike film. It is odd but in a good way. It's a violent yukuza film. The characters are weirdos, especially Ichi and Kakihara. )

I just picked up Once Upon a Time in the West. Now I only have to get one more Sergio Leone western (Duck, You Sucker) and I have all his westerns on DVD.

I just found out Blue Underground is also releasing A Bullet for the General in the end of March so I had to pre-order it too. I wish Blue Underground would keep their website up to date. It's not like Blue Underground to be releasing titles so fast. I have five of their titles pre-ordered right now. They just keep churning out Anchor Bay titles I missed. William Lustig has been one busy man lately. Maybe that's why they can't keep their site up to date.

I finally got around to ordering Massacre Time. I hate all the video stores around me. They all stock crap forcing me to order stuff online and wait. Even big stores that have huge horror and western selections have nothing I like! I don't think Italian and cult cinema DVDs sell that well in my area or something.
