Gotta admit that when I backed it into the garage I let it idle for a good ten minutes just to listen to that rat motor. For anybody that has ever doubted that America did/does/and always will make the best cars, just listen to a V-8's rumble.

A really great find. I have a 67 Corvair convertible with factory air. No SS but I still love it. Also two Greenbriers, two Monza's and a Suzuki mini truck.

'67 Impala SS 427's were rare in any form, so I would say you've got a good trade-off. ( I've probably seen only 2 or 3 - ever!) Only downside is the additional gas over the Corvairs, but I'm guessing that' not much of an issue........

I was wondering if I could apply for honorary HHR SS status for it, if such a thing is possible. We have decided on a name, so from now on it shall be known as Rumbles.
