"Name that car game"
I remember the first time I saw a Beaumont SD. It was over 30 years ago at a PA.turnpike toll booth going the other way. I thought someone took a Pontiac Lemans and a 68 Chevelle and stitched them together! It was years later at a car show that I was able to see one close up and find out what I saw way back then.
Wierd proportions. Never seen this one before. First thought, based on the appearance of the front 2/3rds of the vehicle was something from the Swiss coachbuilder Monteverde. No luck there, though.
And why are there louvers in the trunk lid?
OK now who can identify this cheerful little car with the smiling face?
Never had that kind of ambition myself. I like to keep things as close to original as possible. I bought a 72 Chevelle SS about 12 years ago with plans to swap in a 454 but found 2 build sheets in the car confirming it was a REAL SS with matching numbers, so I left it alone...
So do you have an obscure car for us tonight?
