That there would be the 1980 Briggs and Stratton hybrid concept with a heart stopping 0-60 in 29 seconds, and that was in hybrid mode (36 secs w/ electric and well over a minute w/ internal combustion).

I had seen pics of that Briggs & Stratton car before (probably years ago in some car mag..), but idn't remember its name.

When I saw it again here in the post, something clicked.....


Do you think they used this as a starting point?



Just read up on it. Apparently the similarity is only a coincidence. The designer started with a windshield, cowl and dash from a first generation VW Scirocco and went from there.....

Oh cool, the Suzuki Cappuccino from 1991-1997, neat little critters that make a Mazda Miata look like a Cadillac Series 62 convertible with a continental kit...so tiny.
