Now with Steelies for winter, and 90,000 mile Michelin Defenders, I am riding on butter.

We did, but with my not having the time to do anything about it until now.... I Thought I would post the result. I am sure that OB is on pins and needles.

Well, I'm just glad that you were finally able to fix the problem.

I used to have a 89 Mazda pickup that developed a random small shimmy. Not really a specific speed or braking shimmy. Just random. Tried new tires, rims, rotors, balanced driveshaft, alignment and a few other things checked or replaced.

Never did figure it out. Sold it with 71k on it, only because I got a new truck.
(yeah, I told the buyer about it. Funny though, it never did shimmy when he test drove it.)

Mysteries.

I tell you what. With the new wheels/tires on him, Stiggz feels a bit more responsive. As in, movements are more snappy and such.. Normal? I forget from the first time.
