New guy: Canada Jeff

Hello all, nice place you got here.

My name's Jeff and I just took delivery of my HHR late last week. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from you good folks, and making some new friends here. I've been using this same screen name in a number of different forums all over the net for the last decade or so, and I'm curious if anybody around these parts may have bumped into me somewhere else.... if you're into model cars, guitars, traditional hot rods, or Ford's Mustang II of the mid 70's, we may already have met! (Yes, yes... Mustang II... I know... )

Anyway.... my HHR is an '08 LS in Silverstone Metalic. It's curently bone stock, but plans include a set of lowering springs, some cool kindey-bean style wheels I found for the HHR, and maybe a two-tone paint job as time and money allow.

Thanks to the admins for making this place happen. I'm looking forward to hanging out here with you.

(you may fire away with the Mustang II comments now. I've heard them all before!)

- Jeff

I grew up in Edmonton, but now live in Calgary and will never go back. Does that get me off the hook?

Small world. I know Anita from a Mustang II forum we are members of. Funny how you cross paths with people on line who you would never get to meet in person!

Hey Jeff, I guess you're cool in my books. At least you've seen the light and moved on down south.

Heh Jeff
Another Calgarian here. I've had my HHR for a couple of months now and love it. As for Mustangs I prefer the late 60's myself but did own a 75 once upon a time. It didn't survive too well when I tangled with some snow covered concrete.

Welcome to the site, it's a fun place filled with some great people.
