Our Competition

If you consider the HHR a "crossover" here's what the other automakers are throwing at us as competition.

2007 Mazda CX-7
2.3 liter, 244 hp turbocharged 4-cyclinder
6-speed automatic
18 mpg city/24 mgp hwy
$28,000 base price

The article about this car said the one negative was the gas mileage. Would you buy a 4-cyclinder that only gets 24 mpg? I think the price is ridiculous. Just another example of an automaker trying to recoup their R&D costs immediately.

I don`t consider either of those My compo, never considered even looking at Mazda.
Once I saw the Cruck, well , "Others need not apply".
When a Turbo is avail. that`s what I`ll be looking at.

I only get 24 - 27 MPG but thats only when I am driving my HHR at 110 MPH on the highway. I have the 2.4 it's kind of hard for me to drive at 55 MPH
but no I would never by a car that you are speaking about.

later
Safe driving

No we really don't have competition. They just like to think they'll draw interest away from the HHR. We know better!
