Thumbs down Pac man audio on mozilla firefox

This POS started today, others have are reporting it. Any One else? Open Mozilla Firefox and you get this annoying audio track of the PAC MAN game playing in the background. Did a virus check with AVG and Norton - supposedly clean?

I hate IE ever since bling came to the scene - I was perfectly happy with the original search engine- But until this problem is cleared up, no more Firefox browzing

Today is "Pacman's 30th birthday" Google has the game on their search page, playable and with that "music"..... If you aren't getting it from google's page and it is firefox I would switch browsers or put up with it for a few days.......

I personally HATE that noise the game makes.... It's a long story and not for this forum.

i was so happy to find out that it had a playable pacman on google. Great little treat in the middle of work.

But yeah I am guessing made your homepage for firefox is set to google, and when you open up the browser it starts it up.

On the Mozilla Forum they mention to disable(if you have them) cooliris and coolpreview add ons, then restart Firefox. It seems to work, but then again I just went back in and re-enabled the add ons. No change the initial disabling must of did the trick or idiots at google and/or firefox fixed the problem.

Change your homepage to something like www.chevyhhr.net instead of google
The pacman game on their logo is temporary on their home page but will be around permanantly if you feel the need at
http://www.google.com/pacman/
