I will greatly miss him. He was ONE of my all time favorites.

I met Mr. Newman, by accident, in 1978. I was in an exclusive restaurant in The Monterey Bay area of California and Mr. Newman and his wife, Ms. Woodward, were having dinner. I walked over and indicated I did not wish to disturb their dinner and it was not necessary to acknowledge me. I then thanked him and his wife for all the enjoyment and entertainment I had garnered from their movies. He thanked me for the accolade and I walked back to my table and continued my meal. A short time later a drink arrived at my table courtesy of Mr. & Mrs. Newman.

I have been very proud of that moment.

RIP......H

IT MAKES ME VERY SAD.....To say the least.
A wonderful career and a wonderful guy.
I am not to far from the ages of that great group,

Paul Newman
Robert Redford
Clint (baby) Eastwood

To name a few.

Yes a very sad day........

what a great actor and a great guy-nice story Snoopy. I used to see him race up at Limerock Park quite a bit. I just read that his company had donated somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 million-remarkable.
