The HHR R/Rs are still around, I snagged one at Wal-Mart the other week.

The great thing is it is water soluable so it won't soften or change the properties of the plastic.
I have not tried it myself but I have used it on my engines and it works great.
(good for those driveway stains too) Hope this helps.

If using Castrol Super Clean, please wear gloves. It's major ingredient is what we used to call LYE. That will eat your skin with prolonged exposure. No longer made by Castrol, it is still available just as Super Clean. I get mine at ACE. Also, use a plastic container as this will eat through thin metals. I used an aluminum disposable bread pan and wound up with Super Clean all over the bathroom basin and floor. Youy may not find it in California, however.
