This story just baffles me and pisses me off!! http://www.jdnews.com/sections/speci...ts/lauterbach/ I just want to know what this Marine's NCOIC , SNCOIC and OIC were doing? As a Retired GySgt, If one of my Marines (especially a pregnant or sick one) went missing, i'd have raised a red flag from Day ONE!, I'd have been checking on her residence daily, or at least been sending a co-worker to check on her daily, What happened to taking care of our own? Her Chain of Command dropped the ball bigtime ! Someone else besides the suspect should be held accountable !!

JimZ....you can bet some charges will be issued. You know, when government/military "property" comes up missing, somebody is held accountable. But alas, sometimes it happens slowly.
