My Thoughts

HHRCrafty, I as an American disagree with you on the fact that those of us who do not have a relative or friend in the military have not lost anything. I served my country and I think of our military everyday. They are the true heroes of the United States. Not an American Idol or a baseball player or an actor or singer who's life for the most part is not rooted in reality. We need to pray for our military people and hopefully the politicians will allow the generals to fight the wars without no political interference.

There are many of us who do our part. I personally donate plasma and platelets every month, and here in Florida I heard on the news that the local blood banks is shipping some AB plasma to the military for our troops. And yes I am AB positive. Also where I work tomorrow all of the people who ride motorcycles will be riding their bikes to work tomorrow and we will be raising money or donate other gedunk items our troops may need. Thank god for the organizers of this event.

As for politics, until our leaders/government provides some incentive to rid ourselves of being dependent on the Middle East and other crack countries we will stay in trouble. Also as I saw early in this thread, the people (Muslims) hate each other and even if they did take over the world they would just kill each other. They need to be stopped somewhere. I prefer on foreign soils rather than here in the U.S.

Sorry for the long ramble, not trying to flame anybody just wanted the opportunity to voice my opinion. Everybody have a great day.

*Note the sarcasm*

What does the president have to do with building refineries? As far as the Middle East and Iraq I think I have it figured out! While we are over there forcing Democracy on Iraq we should force the American religion of Christianity on them to and then spread it throughout the entire Middle East by force. It worked for the Native Americans right? Then they wouldn't fight amongst each other and wouldn't hate us because we would all be united under American Jesus. But seeing as how it seems most Middle Easterners like to take things to the extreme the would end up fundamentalist Christians so I don't know which would be worse; The Middle East as fundamentalist Muslims or the Middle East as fundamentalist Christians. I guess people are going to die no matter what.

*Sorry for the irrational bout of sarcasm *

Ok, Kuwait, doesn`t change anything.
This whole charade was sold to the American people, who have bought in , hook, line and sinker.
If you want to believe that the Big Bad Boogie man is around every corner, fine.
But the truth is, that many people have died on both sides in this lie, needlessly.

I guess I should apologize if I offended any Christians with that rant. Sorry! That wasn't my intent which like stated was sarcasm but when I reread it I thought I should apologize first before I get a backlash. But when you listen to some of Bush's speeches you'll see where it kind of fits. On second though I guess our current president might have something to do with building refineries.

No matter who our president is or what side they're on I won't be happy. Some presidents are better figure heads than others though. We need to elect another actor as president because they know how to dazzle people and celebrities seem to be what most of America fixates themselves on. I think we should elect David Hasselhoff for president. Even if he doesn't know anything about politics tell me it wouldn't look good to see him up on a podium saying whatever his speech writers tell him to.

Yeah, that was kind of in response to your last post. Well not the Hasselhoff part of course.
