Since you admittedly agree that our society, customs, and way of life , are different, how did it become our place to change a country that has nothing to do with us in any way, except OIL.
Are you also saying that your customs and way of life would prevent you from defending your country, if invaded?
How about the American people who, like me, believe that this entire campaign is a farce, are you gonna just discount us as un-informed, and turn into the very thing you think you`re fighting against, and take away our right to speak out?

No president can force a company to build refineries. No company is going to. Milk is getting high, guess he should also force cows to reproduce more often.

Another thread that I will never visit.
I guess you decision not to revisit, was as honest and forthright as your belief that this is a just cause.

By voting for a prez that will build more refineries, with this abundance of gasoline being generated from these sources, we might be invaded again as we will be the only ones with any fuel.

C'mon gang, lets not let this one get into the personal attacking that history has shown that gets this type of discussion/threads locked.

Mitt Romney does NOT get my vote. We had him for a few years and watched him waffle and flip flop. I sure wouldn't want the rest of the country to suffer.

and take away our right to speak out?
That presumption could not be farther from the truth. I don't have to agree with or like anything you have to say but I am willing to give my life to guarantee you that right to speak your mind. I made that oath when I signed my name on the dotted line 24 years ago as did the many service members prior and currently serving.

We ARE defending this country as we are at war.....

Just curious...what is your main opposition to the war? Is it just war in general? Is it the number of US Troops being killed? Is it as simple a a pure hatred of George Bush and no matter what he does or says it will be wrong in your eyes? Will either Hillary or Obama make it all better? How? Something tells me that you won't be pulling the lever with any "R" next to their name.

Actually I'm not all that crazy about anybody running on either side of the aisle (I think I have said that once or twice) I'll tell you one thing...if Secretary Rice decided to run I think she would amaze a lot of people

Hey Massachusetts is all set now with Deval "Cadillac" Patrick running the show!

"Together we can".....all go down the crapper

Thank God for Howie Carr

Do you disagree with what he (Mitt) said today about Hillary? Might not have been nice but he nailed it

I see this war as if we had attacked France after Pearl Harbor.
It`s not a political question, it`s a leadership in general issue, and the sheep who will follow whom ever is in office.
I don`t remember taking any oath to any party, the oath/allegance I took/made was to THE UNITED STATES, and it surely wasn`t to any country because they have a particular commodity.
And if need be, I would die in defense of THIS COUNTRY, not some hokey idea of creating a democratic country, in one that existed before there was a U.S..
