Pro Gun or Anti Gun
I'm on both sides, I carry, and If everyone carried, there would be hardly any crimes, and we would have basically a "victimless" society. It sucks that we have to protect ourselves against the slime of society! But "We have to protect Ourselves"! And in this day and age "Packing" is our one of our LAST right that has'nt been taken away. I do feel that Nobody needs an "AK" as home defense. Just my opinion.

heh.
You may live in a blue state, but are residing in a red county!
Which is why I love living here!
@...blue in the OC
Why wouldnt an AK be a good gun for defense anywhere?? Considering there are 100 Million of them I think they have proven them selves since 1947.Its not my first pick but it will do any job you want it to. Why do you feel that way about an AK? If it were a Mini 30 rifle would it be ok? Or is it because the way they look
I bit the bullet on that one....worth it to me. When thy said that any Glock made before October 1998 was a well made safe firearm and every Glock made after that was an unsafe illegal gun to own...well that made up my mind that it was time to go (among tons of other reasons) Where the hell is the logic in that???
I smile every day that I drive over the border back into NH

I hear ya, but Glocks are over-rated plastic guns, why not get a all metal, U.S. Army stamped, real deal Beretta 9 mm?
Hubby doesn't call me Annie for nothin'
sign on home: never mind the dog (image of gun) beware the owner
If you are in my home and threaten us your knees may remain in tact but don't count on it.
Live in So Cal where Hubby was born. He is very skilled and we taught the daughter as well

How the hell did he ever get elected???
Nevermind...that's why I escaped Goose
Distinct minority here.Never had a gun, don't want one, don't feel the need for one(and I'm a 1/4 mile north of Detroit). When a gun is too readily at hand,it's too likely to be used.
The problem with the 2nd Amendment is that it was formulated over 230 years ago when life was nothing like it is now.No way could our forefathers have anticipated life as we know it-large cities, more than ample food supply, motor vehicles, etc.I wonder if they had to draft the amendment today would they consider "arms" to be tanks, mortar shells, cannons and bombs?Where do you stop?

To me it's part of Freedom to choose, if you choose not to have a gun, not comfortable with them, don't own one. I'm not a criminal, why deny my choice to own a gun. I'm no danger to you, even if I lived next door to you.
