I was going to post that I was anti just to raise a fuss but I reached under the seat and patted the S&W 40 and opend the trunck and stroked the AK went in the Bed room and cleaned the SKS then went down stairs and had fond memories of hunting with Rem 12 and Hawkin50 flinter and decided Nawwww just wouldnt be right

 

hey sanddragger a lot of people dont understand bullet ballistics and types of bullets. they Hear AK-47 and because of it being around for so long and in all the movies they think it can only fire FMJ bullets that yes could and would over penetrate in a urban setting. Im not saying that the soft pointed semi jacketed bullets you had would not have over penetrated but not nearly as bad as FMJ.Besides you did what I have done you grabed what was close to you .The same goes with the old .223 round they dont understand that the smaller lighter bullet tumbles on impact and wont over penatrate any worse then a 9mm

I changed the mind of a few delinquents one night I heard a noise at 2:00 in the morning the sound of somebody drilling out a lock in my neighbors garage door(but at the time i had no clue) and I happened to be at the range that day and had my regular sleep with peace( 92F) 9mm and was out of ammo so I grabbed my BFG (Desert Eagle) .50 AE and walked up behind the said evil doers and just let the action slam home and chambered a round and both gentail men turned around and said OH ***** in unison I calmly asked if they were lost and needed some help.I suggested that they get in their car and never come back I then said that I dont call the cops I call the corner. So was the 50 to much fire power ummm yes but it was all I had at the time.and nobody got hurt. Then I called a friend who happens to be a cop I told him what happened he said he was on duty and would check it out and keep an eye out for the car I described. the PD found the gentlemen and car at a gas station about 3 blocks from my house lol cordless drill and all when they came out to the house to get my report they happened to look in to my neighbors garage the door was just cracked open and they saw a distinctive glowing from the crack of the door. turned out my neighbor was growing pot plants. lol
now thats funny

 

Not paranoid...just reality...bet one of those kids at VT wished they had a firearm that day...or would they just have been paranoid? In fact I think one of the students had left his firearm at home that day because they are not allowed on campus due to a rule.....lot of good that rule did that day...all it did was punish the people who followed it.


Crime doesn't make appointments..it doesn't announce itself..it just happens...

Call it paranoia if you wish....you are flat out wrong but entitled to that mindset

WOW ZTONY8 im sorry you feel that way but there are many varment hunters and predator hunters that swear bye the old AR-15 style with the flat top receiver they are extremely accurate and give them a fast follow up shot for a more humane kill. Although there are several different shooting organizations and schools and clubs that involve assult style rifles for all ages. My mom was pregnant with me (long time ago)and she spent almost every weekend with my dad on the range shooting. the so called assault rifle

Hell why stop there what about ammonium nitrate(you know fertilizer) and diesel I say there is no need for fertilize its only made to blow **** up. Pretty sure we remember the whole Ryder truck incident in Oklahoma City bombing with Timothy McVeigh

That's not entirely true, you must have a "Class "A" Licence To Carry" too have a "Large capacity" handgun. (anything that will hold more than 10 rounds) (My Henry 44 mag just makes it)
